Contact tracing identifies more cases

It is now March - Mrs Y remembers that sometime ago Miss Z who runs the coffee shop next to the school where Mrs Y goes each morning had told her that she had TB in the past.

After checking with the TB nurses in your area, you confirm that Miss Z was diagnosed with TB eight years previously and had been treated at that time. The microbiology lab confirms that an isolate was cultured at that time and has been frozen in the laboratory.

In April you also learn that a student (student W) at another school (School B) has also recently been diagnosed with TB. School B is geographically very close to School A but there is no known contact between this new case and any of the cases from School A.
